- Open Domains and start a transfer from the domain’s card. Only the owner can do this.
- We unlock the domain and ask the registrar for its transfer code. We email you when it’s ready.
- Give the code to your new registrar and pay them for the transfer. Keep the code private: anyone with it can move your domain.
- Transfers usually complete within five days. Your website keeps working as long as the domain still points to Church Wide Web.
A domain can usually be moved 60 days after it was registered or last transferred. The dashboard shows the date if it can’t move yet.
